LCSW-A, they/them

Garnering hope in a world that is incredibly oppressive and often feels hopeless is a difficult task, but not unachievable. Everyone deserves to find solace and joy in themselves, their communities, and the world at large; to sit with the discomfort of grey area without losing themselves in it; to find joy and identity in themselves and comfort in connecting with others. If you are struggling with finding identity and community, finding it difficult to move out from under the emotional weight of being human, or you want to thrive and not just survive, I am here for you!

My name is Alice, and I am an LCSW-A with a passion for helping others discover their identity, navigate relationships, build community, and lift the burdens of trauma from their shoulders. As a queer and neurodivergent individual myself, I aim to provide a calm, connected space for anyone who has ever felt as though their true selves are at odds with the world around them. The most impactful part of therapy is most often the relationship between therapist and individual, and I aim to hold space for my clients and create an environment in which they feel as though they are able to form a healing, honest, and most importantly human therapeutic relationship with me. Our time together will be collaborative and shaped to meet your needs – a playground built to help you discover your identity, desires, strengths, and all of the joy that can be created in this life.

Transparency, humanism, humility, and social justice are values I hold dear in my work with others. My style is eclectic, pulling from different modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I incorporate somatic techniques and understanding of the nervous system to create a sense of safety and calm in sessions. If you are curious about moving towards a more fulfilling life, you don’t have to let fear hold you back any longer.
