  • At our practice, self pay therapy rates are as follows:

    • Interns: $40 per for individual, $60 for couples

    • Associate Licenses: $125 per session

    • Fully Licensed Therapists: $150 per session.

    If using insurance, contact your insurance provider to see what they cover. Things to ask include: what your deductible is, what your co-insurance payment will be, how many visits do you get covered? Contact us if you need assistance with this.

  • Yes, we accept insurance from several providers. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and private pay. (Medicaid Coming Soon)

    For clients with out-of-network coverage, we provide super bills for reimbursement. Please contact us to discuss your insurance coverage and verify if we are in-network with your provider.

  • Scheduling an appointment is easy! You can call our office directly, send us an email, or fill out the contact form on our website. Our friendly staff will assist you in finding a convenient time for your first appointment.

    We also offer a fifteen minute free consultation to determine if we are the right fit for each other. Contact us for scheduling.

  • Therapy sessions typically last 45-50 minutes for individual sessions. Although, this can vary based on your needs and the therapist's recommendation.

  • The frequency of therapy sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Some clients come weekly, while others may come biweekly or monthly. Your therapist will work with you to determine a schedule that works best for you.

  • Yes, therapy is confidential. Your therapist will discuss the limits of confidentiality with you during your first session.

  • In your first session, your therapist will take some time to get to know you and understand your reasons for seeking therapy. They will also discuss your goals for therapy and what you hope to achieve. Some questions they may ask will be: What brought you to therapy? What have your experiences been with therapy in the past? What brings you here?

  • We offer a variety of therapy approaches, including individual therapy, group therapy, relationship therapy, and family therapy. Our therapists are trained in several modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, relationship, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches. We believe in tailoring the therapeutic approach to the client. We are also a neurodivergent affirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and alternative relationship affirming practice. We recognize our privilege and believe in dismantling systems of oppression while doing our own anti-racist work.

  • Yes, you can switch therapists if you don't feel comfortable. Your comfort and trust in the therapeutic relationship are essential, and we want you to feel supported in finding the right fit. Please discuss any concerns you have with your therapist, and they can help you explore other options within our practice.
